Great Explorations Children's Museum has a long-standing tradition of supporting the community through services and programs that benefit children and families in need. Due to the high number of donation inquiries, the Museum may not be able to honor every request but will try to fulfill those that support our mission in serving children and families.

Charitable Donation Requests should meet the following criteria and be submitted in writing according to the instructions below:

Eligible recipients:

• Schools

• Community Organizations

• Non-profit 501 (c) 3 organizations

In-eligible recipients:

• For-profit organizations

• Requests for an individual or family

• Third-party requests (donations on behalf of another group)

 

STEPS FOR REQUESTING A CHARITABLE DONATION:

• Submit the request in writing on organizational letterhead

• Include the organization's mission

• Include the purpose of the request

• Provide copy of non-profit certification

• If for an event, include detailed description with name and date of event

• Provide contact name, daytime phone and mailing address

• Requests must be received at least six weeks prior to the date of the event
